Granny Square, er …Pentagon???

Another quick gift Christmas idea was shared yesterday at Crochet, Etc. club.  It was a crocheted granny square modified to be a pentagon then folded in the shape of a stocking and sewn together.  So simple, so quick, so easy!!!  You can tuck a small gift in this stocking and hang it on the tree or use it on a present as part of the decoration.  One of the suggestions was to put in money or like pictured here a coffee or hot chocolate stirring stick of cinnamon decorated with snow-tex and acrylic paint to depict Old Saint Nick.
