Tunisian Crochet – a love affair!

Tunisian bootie in the middle

I have renewed my interest in Tunisian crochet and am having a wonderful time this summer learning new techniques and discovering new patterns.  I have merged knitting and crochet patterns to form a Tunisian booties pattern that is darling and have just put the finishing touches on a baby blanket that I hope to share soon.    I have had a challenge with the curling of the piece but I am working on that by using a bigger size hook to start with and then switching to a little smaller one to finish.  Getting your tensions under control helps the most though.  I have also discovered a new stitch and as soon as I have it done the pictures will be up!

If you would like to purchase the pattern for the knit baby booties please click the add to cart button below:

So stay tuned for updates and I promise to be more faithful in posting now that I have a new site.

It wasn’t a stitch I enyeojd long ago, but I haven’t tried it in a long time. It’s becoming quite popular again I’ve noticed. Good luck with learning it and with whatever project you make using it. Making rounds today from Bridge and Beyond
