Guacamole a Hit!

If you need a recipe for Guacamole, then try this easy one I got raves for on Cinco de Mayo.

Guacamole

Ingredients:

2 avocados

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

3/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp.  Oregano

1 tsp. Onion Powder

2 Tbsp. Picante sauce or salsa

Cut avocados in half. Pit & scoop avocado from  peel  into a small mixing bowl.  Add seasonings and salsa.  Mash & mix together.

The best tip I have learned in making guacamole is how to remove the pit from the avocado.  Cut the avocado in half and twist slightly to to separate the halves.  Using a sharp knife, whack it into the pit.  Just a little twist and lift the pit.  Tada!!!!
