Cold, Cold, Creativity

The warmer temperatures did not last long.  The cold wind started last night and was accompanied by bands of heavy snow and low visibility.  I don’t think I was ever so blessed as to be in a warm home.  Being confined indoors gave me time to create- which I love – and these cute penguins are the  fruits of that energy.  I used a clean, empty egg shell as the base for my design and went from there.  Black and white acrylic paint brought the image together and I crafted the hat for the guy from some left over fabric I had  and the ear muffs were constructed using a  pipe cleaner and white pom-poms.  One of the pom poms served for the cap end.  What are some projects you create while stuck inside on a very cold, cold day?
