Popcorn for fall

What you are viewing in the picture is my new “down fall”!  I love popcorn:  plain, cheese, butter, caramel, kettle…well, you get the picture.  I am always on the lookout for new flavors. This one is over the top.  It is “snicker-doodle” popcorn.  The butter, cinnamon, sugar and white chocolate actually called to me.

I may just have to get ear plugs.  It is so easy to make and even easier to nibble the entire pan away without giving it a second thought.  I found the recipe here:  http://picky-palate.com/2011/03/21/snickerdoodle-popcorn-with-white-chocolate-drizzle/ .  I used the white almond bark to drizzle on my creation.  I am thinking about adding a little red food coloring, or orange or yellow to the bark and color the leaf looking corn to fit in with the fall season.

After all, I am working on the crocheted leaf patterns and I am seeing leaves in everything.  Of course I am stopping for small snacks of snicker-doodle corn to help the process – lots and lots of small snack breaks.  Louise! This may take a while.
